It's a Waxing Gibbous!

Sorry to go all astronomical on you guys but I look at these nails like the white is a half-moon. Anyway, here I used the white Beauty Treats and then the Petite Night to make the night part of the nail. I used stickers to create the crescent shape. You like? I love this. I got the inspiration from a fashion show. I want to try different color combos but for this one it's very time consuming and you must be patient! (Hard for me :/)

The Big Apple

Here is OPI Big Red Apple! Gorgeous red, great application. Shown here is two coats and see how opaque it is? I think this one would be cute on the toes :) Enjoy!

PS. Shoutout to KAPIO! Look she did a red too:

Pink with a wild side.

Shout out to Ms. P! Here is Sinful Colors Professional in Cream Pink with white tips by Beauty Treats and zebra stripes using konad plate m57 and black Special Konad Polish! This was inspired by my friend as this is her go-to manicure so I wanted to try it out. I bet hers looks better than this being she does the zebra stripes by hand! Amazing!

NEONS!

Mega Dare Wild Kisses! Blame it on the wild side! This flashy and sizzling collection is ready to have some fun. Look what I scored:

NEONS! Awesome neons! Four colors in this pack and you can pick this up at wal-mart for $8. Lets get to the polishes! The first at the top is Feeling Flirty, unleash your inhibitions with this risk taking pink, truly a neon pink :) Next..

Hot Spot, A burning orange that says: "I'm in the mood for something hot." An orange cone neon orange! Loving this one.

Sun Lover, This neon yellow highlighter is a sure thing to draw his attention, a true neon yellow.

Fearless Fantasy, Bring his gaze to you with this stare-worthy coral. This picture doesn't do the color good. It has more pink in it like a coral (the pic looks two orangish). Also, this color almost doesn't look like it would belong with the group but it is pretty bright and a mix between pink and orange. It's definitely my favorite of the set :)

Overall the application was great and the consistency wasn't two thick or thin. With these neons I noticed you can tell when the polish is dry because it gives a dull look so all the swatches above have about 3 coats on plus a top coat. The polish dries quick too (big plus!) Enjoy :)

Del Sol Indoor/Outdoor Color Changing!

Indoor

Outdoor

Del Sol Nail Polish! How awesome right? Two colors in one! I have two to show here today. The first up top is Island Fever. As you can see there isn't much difference between the indoor and outdoor color. The outdoor color gets darker and opaque. These colors are definitely metallics and are a bit streaky. The consistency of the polish is a bit thin as well. On to the second:

Indoor

Outdoor

This color is Flirt and the sheerest of the two but the most different between the indoor and outdoor colors. Which one do you like best?

Glitter!

402 - Jingle Bells

OMG the sticker fell off this one but the number is 410

Glitter finally! Top pic is Sinful Colors Professional in Cream Pink with the silver holographic glitter. Second pic is Vivid Violet from Avon with the purple, red, blue and silver glitter. Jingle Bells can be so opaque that you don't even need a bottom color. Btw the brand of the glitters are Beauty Treats purchased at Jeans Warehouse.

Hot Pink.

Sinful Colors Professional in Cream Pink. Something funny about this polish is that I didn't really realize there was gold micro-glitter in this pink until I applied it.. kinda cool to find.

Konad Fun! Part Three.

It's going to be a sunny day!! Here is a manicure to brighten your day because I always feel good inside when I see a blue blue sky with no rain clouds! Anyway.. The base is (shh don't tell my sister) but it's actually a Konad Special Polish :/ I don't know if your not suppose to use it as a base? or if it's wasting? but I REALLY wanted to do this one. Cute right? This somehow reminded me of toy story and I googled and found a pic!

P.S. If you want to try and recreate any of the previous swatches I have done and don't have any of the Konad tools or polishes.. all you have to do is go to Ebay and type in: Konad Kit and you can get one for about $15 for everything! The stamper, scraper, plates, and polishes! Go check it out.. it's really fun and you can be creative :)

Konad Fun! Part Two.

Okay so I'm getting a little wild here! How do you like the color combo?? Base is Nicole by OPI in My Lifesaver and the leopard spots are a dark shimmery purple by Konad Special Polish. I personally like the color combo. Something different. Enjoy :)

P.S. Also if you are wondering what I'm always holding with my Konad posts it is my top coat! Also from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure collection (I just love that brush!)

Konad Fun! Part One.

Here is Thinking of Blue again (from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure collection) but with light blue dots!! This is using Konad Special Polish. It kind of came out polka dotty/paint splatter? lol. I don't really like polka dots but I had to try this one out :) Enjoy!

P.S. So for the next three days I will be doing some Konad fun nails! So keep checking the blog daily to see more :)

P.S.S. I love blue!

Day by Day.. Gray by Gray

I really like this color. Remember when Sephora by OPI came out with Metro Chic and then OPI had their You Don't Know Jacques?? It was almost like a gray craze. This color is similar to those but with a blue tint!! It feels really chic when I wear it and it has a great application super pigmented, I almost didn't need two coats. This polish is Gray by Gray from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure collection. Enjoy :)

Something different.

So... this is something different I chose, something i normally wouldn't wear and I was actually really thinking about it and I have no idea where I would where this nail polish. It's kinda a muddy red like red dirt! The polish is Haze of Love from the Wet n Wild collection Megalast. Maybe it's right for you?

Calypso Blue.

This is a really pretty blue duo chrome, it reminds me of the ocean especially with the name Calypso Blue. This polish is also from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure and this is only two coats and no top coat. See how shiny it is :) Very pigmented too. This post is dedicated to the new Pirates of the Caribbean fourth installment On Stranger Tides coming out May 20! Can't wait to see it! Especially since Brandon did security for the movie here on Kauai and I'm sure i'll be receiving commentary the entire time but I'm still so stoked :)

Watermelon nails!

Watermelon nails! I used the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Grass Slipper and the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro in Posh Pink (You can see them for themselves in previous posts). For the seeds I used Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Black. This manicure totally feels like summer and we are not far off :)
Enjoy my pre-summer manicure!

My first Konad post!!

My first Konad post!! So, I have posted this color before but here it is with black zebra stripes! Konad plate m57 and this plate also has the leopard print on it too!! Konad does sell the tools in a kit that you can buy. The kit comes with: 1 scraper, 1 stamper, 2 plates (depending on the kit) and 3 colors of their special Konad polish (depending on the kit). Here's some pics:

Enjoy :)

Sephora by OPI

w/flash

w/o flash

Sephora by OPI has been a favorite of mine for a while. I really like all their colors they come out with and you can order online at Sephora.com while your buying any other beauty supplies. It's decently priced and a good product :) The following polishes aren't new but they are apart of my collection.

The first above is Teal We Meet Again, two coats no top coat. Very pretty midnight teal, very dark shimmery and shiny.

Note to Self is a sherbet orange with shimmer. Very light, I did 3 coats in this picture.

Special Request is a tangerine orange, it's a little more reddish than the picture shows. Two coats.

And finally, Cab fare. Cab fare is a shimmery yellow. Quite opaque being this is only two coats.

There are so many Sephora by OPI colors I still want to try so hopefully in the near future! I'll keep you posted!
